Lab Profile Projectors

The Lab Profile Projectors serie includes two models:

 

- Lab 1 (code EP-1 mod. 2010). Measurement travels: X 200 Y 100 mm;. Negative Image Version;. Positive Image Version;
- Lab 2 (code EP-1 mod. 2515). Measurement travels: X 250 Y 150 mm;. Negative Image Version.

 

They are high precision instruments that make possible 2D measurements of arcs, segments, chamfers, angles, distances between points or lines, intersections of lines, angles between two lines, etc…

They can be used in a wide range of applications like moulds and dies, screws, gears, electric boards, plastic, gum or glass parts, etc… and they can be installed directly on the shop floor or in the Control Room.

They are solid, generously designed and assembled by using high quality components.

The Lab 1 accuracy is given by the formula (3 + L/100) micron, where “L” is the measured Length in mm (e.g. for a Measurement Travel equal to 150 mm, the total Accuracy is 4,5 micron).

The Lab 2 accuracy is equal to (4 + L/50) micron.
The Distortion of the Profile is less than 0,08%, far lower than the standards normally required for these applications.

The Lamp Groups and the Lens give back sharp, bright and high quality images.
The high precision cross table and the “Lab” Digital Read Out, specifically designed to equip Profile Projectors, are included as a standard.

The Lab 1 and Lab 2 Profile Projectors have been built accordingly to the CE Standards and, having already been built in thousands of units, are reliable and exceptionally competitive.

XY Cross Table
 
The high precision cross table runs on linear guides and has integrated 1 micron linear scales. Movements are soft and precise.

High stabilized cast iron
 
To reduce the internal tensional stresses, in addition to the standard
metallurgical processes, all the cast iron parts are treated with computer controlled treatments using vibrations to release internal mechanical tensions
