ELBO optical scales, versatile linear measuring systems for installation in metrological labs, for machine tools, for motion and position control of actuators.
ELBO digital optical scales are reliable and precise. Compact in size, they offer excellent reliability over time and can be delivered within a short time of ordering. They are tested with HP laser equipment before delivery.
These linear measuring systems are typically applied to machine tools such as horizontal and vertical lathes, milling machines, grinders, radial drills, EDM machines, boring machines, but also for metrological instruments such as profile projectors, durometers and thickness gauges.
The MX modular optical scale is particularly interesting. 6-metre modules can be joined for applications on large machines, up to 20 metres.
TTL output signal for digital readouts, EIA 422 A for CNC machines.
Measurement is by transparency up to 3.000 mm in length, by reflection over 3.000 mm in length.

The GT and GR series have been designed to achieve quality and reliability at competitive prices. They can be installed on both Machine Tools and Measurement Instruments and are available with TTL (for DROs) and EIA 422 A (for CNC) output signals.
Travels range from 50 mm up to 1’200 mm with resolution of 5 micron and 1 micron.

Dimension: 2.100 ÷ 9.500 mm (max 20.000 mm)
Designed for heavy duties, they can infact be installed on big machine tools (HBMs, Vertical Lathes, etc…) and have got the biggest cross sections among the whole elbo product range.
Construction is solid, the reader head movement is smooth and precise and reliability is very high.
Up to 6.050 mm travels the scales are made in one piece only. Between 6.600 mm and 9.500 mm scales are assembled by using more modules so to optimize shipment and installation. On request we can manufacture scales up to 20 meters. All MX scales are laser inspected by using HP instruments.

Progettate per essere impiegate su grandi macchine utensili (alesatrici, fresalesatrici, torni verticali e paralleli, ecc…), queste righe ottiche hanno una sezione molto robusta per garantire precisione ed affidabilità.
La costruzione è solida e lo scorrimento della testina di lettura morbido e preciso.
Fino a corse di 6.050 mm sono costruite in un unico pezzo. Per corse da 6.600 a 9.500 mm le righe vengono invece prodotte assemblando moduli di diversa lunghezza in modo da facilitare sia il trasporto che il montaggio. Su richiesta possiamo produrre anche righe di lunghezza fino a 20 metri.
Tutte le righe MX sono testate con apparecchiatura Laser HP.
